Join the Chestnut Hill Conservancy for Discovering: Pastorius Park — History, Trees, and the Art of Stewardship, an in-person spring walking tour focused on the living landscape and ongoing care of Pastorius Park.

Led by landscape historian Rob Fleming, ASLA, and park steward James McNabb, this guided tour will examine the park’s historic development, notable trees, and the stewardship practices that continue to shape its ecology and character today. Participants will explore restoration efforts, arboretum planning, and long-term strategies for maintaining this significant civic landscape.

This program follows the Conservancy’s virtual Discovering lecture on Pastorius Park earlier in 2026 and offers an on-the-ground perspective on the themes discussed in that session.
