The Chestnut Hill Conservancy proudly presents the Preservation Party, an extraordinary event that merges the esteemed Preservation Awards with the celebrated Chestnut Hill Architectural Hall of Fame. This unique celebration honors the finest preservation projects and architectural marvels within Chestnut Hill and its surrounding areas.
A buffet style dinner and drinks will be served.
Ticket: $45 per person (fair market value $35)
Preservation Awards
The Preservation Awards spotlight exceptional preservation projects that embody best practices in historic preservation. Each recognized project is a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship that safeguard our heritage, ensuring that these treasures endure for future generations. Categories include:

Historic building or structure restoration, rehabilitation and/or adaptive reuse,

Historic substantial feature restoration or rehabilitation (e.g. stone wall, roof, windows),

Exemplary stewardship of important sites,

Sensitive new construction/additions, or

Sustainable preservation – sensitive retrofits to reduce energy use in an historic resource
Architectural Hall of Fame
Chestnut Hill is among the nation’s most architecturally distinguished communities, home to outstanding examples of architecture from three centuries.
The Architectural Hall of Fame is a distinguished list of Chestnut Hill’s most treasured significant buildings, structures, and landscapes chosen by the public. These properties represent groundbreaking approaches to planning and design; are significant for their design, materials, craftsmanship, or as an exceptional example of their style; or are of historical significance because of an association with an event, a person, or by age. Thousands of public votes were cast to induct these treasures into the Hall of Fame. Categories include:
