"Beyond the Single Family House: A Wealth of Other Options" lecture with George McNeely
In the enthusiasm for Chestnut Hill's largest and most impressive houses, we may overlook the extraordinary breadth of other housing options in the Northwest. From double houses to triple houses to quadruple houses to row houses to groups of houses arranged in picturesque "courts" to apartment buildings, our area offers many different options and price points. When the Houston and Woodward families planned and built much of the West side of Chestnut Hill, they understood that vibrant communities offer residents a variety of residential options, as well as shops and other services. Join us as George explores the creative diversity and design of houses and housing types in the Northwest.
Following the lecture, there will be a Q&A. If you would like to submit any questions in advance, please email Conservancy Programs and Communications Manager Chrissy Clawson at Chrissy@CHConservancy.Org.
To attend, you must have an active Conservancy membership valid as of February 11, 2025. To check your membership status, please contact Development Manager Ashley Maass at Ashley@CHConservancy.Org or 215-247-9329 x 202.
